It infrastructure specialist

Contract Type: Fixed-Term

An established international business is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join its IT function on a fixed-term basis. This role will play a key part in delivering infrastructure improvement initiatives that align with business strategy and enhance the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee the global infrastructure estate, including maintenance and deployment of servers and networking equipment.
•Administer and support Microsoft identity management technologies and LAN solutions.
•Act as a technical escalation point for the IT Service Desk.
•Support InfoSec infrastructure initiatives in collaboration with Security Specialists.
•Provide expert infrastructure guidance for solution implementation projects.
•Contribute feedback on evolving practices and opportunities to the Infrastructure Manager.
•Collaborate with IT Business Partners to manage expectations and communication for key changes.
Requirements:
•5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Specialist or Engineer.
•Fluency in both Spanish and English.
•Strong technical expertise in:
•- Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
•- Microsoft 365 and EntraID
•- Cisco and/or Aruba LAN technologies
•- VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft HyperV

Desirable Skills:
•PowerShell scripting
•Mobile Device Management (InTune, Apple Business Manager)
•Microsoft SQL Server and Office technologies
•Cato Networks, Palo Alto firewalls, CrowdStrike
•Veeam and/or AvePoint
•OT technologies such as Siemens or Rockwell

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and collaborator with a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. Experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry is an advantage.
