We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer!
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will take ownership of all of Nebeus’s data processes, from data extraction to presentation, managing our current data infrastructure while designing Nebeus’s future architecture to enhance and optimize all processes.

Data Analysis & Data Framework Development
Research and analyze Nebeus’s current data framework and tools.

- Evaluate Nebeus’s internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.

- Work closely with product, marketing, and the C-level team to understand business needs and critical metrics.

- Take ownership of Nebeus’s data processes, from extraction to presentation, managing our data infrastructure and architecture.

- Design pipelines & ELT processes following best industry practices.

- Collaborate with engineering and our CRM developers to collect and integrate data from various existing sources and build high-quality data pipelines for analytical purposes.

- Review existing data sets and dashboards and propose new ones.

- Make all data available to different Nebeus teams using cutting-edge visualization tools.

- Continuously ensure that databases and primary and secondary data sources are precise and up to date.

- Identify opportunities for automation to optimize data reporting.

- Proactively analyze data and advise the Nebeus teams from various departments on additional data points that the team must consider.

- Work with multiple internal stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions within the organization.

- Strategize and propose upgrading Nebeus data architecture to ensure the highest data integrity and robustness.


Requirements
Who You Are & What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics.

- 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar.

- 4+ years of experience in Javascript, Python, or similar.

- Superior knowledge and experience in data modeling, data warehousing, buildi

- ETL pipelines, and working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.

- Native English is a must.

- Native or Advanced level Spanish is a plus.

- Experience with Zoho CRM is a big plus!

- Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.

- Team player who can collaborate across functions and quickly adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

- You can break complex problems into viable and actionable chunks and solve each problem accurately and effectively.
