RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee a team in the day-to-day execution of data processing in an agency environment.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to develop, implement, and apply strategic vision for the department.
• Ability to have strategic conversations with internal account teams and translate into tactical milestones for junior staff quickly and efficiently.
• Organize and lead multiple analyst teams across different workstreams.
• Elevate the department within the organization by working with the staff to consult on what advanced techniques would yield the best result, and identify best in class technology solutions.
• Create departmental efficiencies through standardization and automation of existing processes.
• Create a collaborative relationship with account leaders across the network.
• Assist with what you see as the story in the data and easy ways to tease out and communicate complex concepts.
• Advise on weighting schemes, segmentation analysis, factor analysis, SEM analysis as well as recommend predictive models to assist with complex client projects.
• Work with a sense of urgency to meet strict deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Advanced graduate degree in Statistics, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science or other field with heavy emphasis on data analysis.
• 7 years of professional research experience with a minimum of 5 years outside of academia; at least 4 years managerial experience.
• Expertise in multiple statistical programs and applications (Stata, SPSS, R, python, etc).
• Experience with primary research techniques outside of academia.
• Proven experience managing multiple internal teams.
• Ability to identify issues with current data collection methods and proactively develop a cohesive strategy to resolve.
• Strong understanding of internal team requirements and ability to take initiative and execute on strategy with little guidance from management.
• Ability to speak the language of market researchers and communicate complex data concepts to non-data analysts with ease and in common language.
• Big Data experience as well as the ability translate technical knowledge and data expertise into executable business plans.
• Knowledge of the Programming and Data processing field to anticipate and incorporate cutting edge data techniques into the core of the business.
• Ability to converse with all levels within the organization, especially senior stakeholders, client leads, and external partners.
• Excellent communication skills along with strong time management and prioritization skills.
