Perfil buscado (Hombre/Mujer)
• Contribute to the development of concept and design of hardware systems and interfaces for all EAS (electronic article surveillance) projects. Assignments can be at individual-contribution level, team level, or a mix.
• Research solutions, review/analyze, validate/troubleshoot and test products.
• Must be able to work in a cross-functional team both locally and at an international level.
• Manage the entire lifecycle for software applications, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing.
• Create and maintain comprehensive code documentation (architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, API specifications)
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure code quality.
• Support system & FPGA simulations, implementation, and verifications (in MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent).
• Implement digital signal processing algorithms within the FPGA to efficiently process RF signals from sensing technologies (e.g., EAS).
• Define and implement robust firmware interfaces with the FPGA such as transfer protocols, control mechanisms, ...
• Provide risk assessments, suggest and execute feasibility investigations, and guidance for bringing new technology to market.
• Communicate timely and accurate project status, provide alternate problem resolution ideas.
• Discuss aspects of the design, provide risk assessments, suggest and execute feasibility investigations, and provide guidance on bringing new technology to the market.
• Contribute to the innovation team, assist substantively in planning technical aspects of the development projects, and then executing them.
• Take responsibility for their deliverables and, together with the team, for the entire application.

• Strong expertise in DSP and FPGA design
• Strong understanding of RF signals and principles
• ProficiencyinprogrammingFPGA (HDL)
• VHDL
• Verilog
• Proficiency in programming C
• Solid experience with I2C, UART, RF,
• Experience in developing embedded hardware and firmware solutions
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent simulation tools
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and other diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
