The Lead Engineer will take care of the scope, planning and quality of the engineering within the project. His/her main responsibilities will be:
• Leading a team of engineers.
• Making a functional or technical specification for a project.
• Make sure that the technical solutions are in line with the scope of the assignment
• Take care of the engineering process of the engineering project team
• Creating/ delivering drawing packages of the machines or parts.
• The quality of the engineering of his/her engineering project team to achieve a solid solution.
• Advising and supporting customers with technical solutions for new machines, new processes, overhauls, process improvements, etc.
• Communicating the progress of the project engineering to the project leader and stakeholders.
• Large experience in engineering or machines|Global leading company
The Lead Engineer will meet these requirements:
• HBO or WO degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience in engineering 24/7 machinery.
• A minimum working experience of 8 years in engineering or machines or a similar function.
• Have knowledge of 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD).
• Good level of proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel for short periods of time.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
